"Very nice view over the city and is one of the best places to sit and watch the lights of Addis. The room was functional and the water in the shower was hot which is a very welcome thing. The room was a little noisy as the balcony door was not sound proof so the stray dogs barked all night and there was no way to reduce the sound. The room was clean and had lots of space. There is an amazing Spa in the building which is well-recommended."

"We really valued our stay at the Ghion Hotel. The rates were excellent, the staff are lovely and it's a real piece of Ethiopian history. The African Jazz Village is top notch and home to the timeless Father of Ethiopian Jazz, Dr. Mulatu Astateke. Meals were copious and delicious - Breakfast is free!
