"Very cluttered and dusty. Have allergies so a nightmare. No hot water despite asking twice. Towels old and frayed and asked for replacement. Such a shame as was supposed to be a treat after working on campsite for 7 months but no hot bath and beds squashed against the wall. Regret the money spent on a treat that actually wasn’t. The food in the restaurant was very good."

"We did not stay at the Royal Tanau as it was closing for season end, but we were relocated to the Eurostar La Pleta, which was amazing overall. Very nice service, every detail very well looked after. Smooth van service to the ski lift"

"We really liked this hotel because of the friendly staff, lovely room with a balcony, and the fantastic breakfast. There is also a super cool second floor patio which is available to all of the guests. We were hiking all day and didn't feel like going out to a restaurant, so we picked up some groceries across the street at the little convenience store and enjoyed our snacks while laying in the anti-gravity chairs and looking up at the stars. "Cannot imagine there is a better option in Espot. The room was nothing fancy, perfect for us to return to after two days of hiking in the National Park. Comfortable beds, clean and a great continental breakfast each morning along with friendly and helpful staff is exactly what we needed and received. The recommendations for dinners in town was also helpful and did not disappoint. "

"Gorgeous space. The inside of the hotel has to be beautiful ~ it is on a switchback and there is no outdoor area. Just in front of the hotel are a bunch of recycling bins which are ugly. The staff and service was excellent. Breakfast amazing. The room was too hot; the bed was pretty hard. Thankfully had good pillows. Overall I liked my stay. I wish I could have slept better. "

"The hotel was very basic and was definitely geared towards winter vacations. Our very small bare room had two beds, one outlet, one ceiling light and two metal shelfs. The shared bathroom was ok, but the toilet stalls were made from plywood and everything seemed to be done on a budget. All this would have been fine since the price matched the amenities, but it didn't. We found an amazing hotel (with an electric charge station!) in a neighboring town at a lower price. "
