"We liked the friendly welcome as we arrived, the lady at the reception gave us all the explanations we needed. The next day - after a good night sleep and a nice shower, we left quiet early and the man at the reception kindly indicated us where we could have our breakfast, which was very good with lots of choices. Conclusion, we were very happy with our stay and plan to come back!"

"Have stayed many times but first visit since pool installation and hotel extension. The dining facilities are very good indeed with excellent waiting staff who really know their worth. Dog friendly too with good walking for dog in the grounds. All in all a must visit destination."

"Excellent little hotel with a very good restaurant, friendly helpful staff. Rooms slightly dated but clean and well maintained. Well stocked bar in a quiet little lounge off the restaurant. The addition of air conditioning, by far from ubiquitous in similar properties, was a godsend in the hot summer. "

"I took a side trip to Châteauroux between matches of the World Cup Soccer tournament so I could spend two days visiting the Brenne Nature Reserve. Of the six hotels I’ve stayed at on this trip, this one has been easily the best. Terrific hosts, good breakfast and dinner service, and a top-rate room at a very reasonable rate. A good walkable location in the city center as well."
