"As mentioned by others bathroom a little dated, good hot shower towels n linen first class Staff extremely helpful View from room great Restaurant n food, probably best kinalaw I’ve had the main we chose the Korean/philo caldretta beef n wasn’t disappointed Ambience excellent sat on balcony with moon rise view over the sensational Staff excellent Only gripe we tried to get early morning ferry n it wasn’t scheduled, next ferry midday we checked out of hotel at 4.00am, tried to contact hotel to see if we could return to our room. Unfortunately we were unable to contact them as listed phone number on web site was incorrect or unavailable "

"We reserved 2 family rooms and they tried to give us a family room and 2 twin beds. The toilets in one of the rooms did not have a working flusher, the family room had steep stairs to the bathroom. One of the rooms reeked of cigarette smoke!! People were milling around in front of there rooms, almost as if the air conditioner was not working. The place was DIRTY and I mean dirty!! The outside was dirty and the rooms were dirty!! The linens did not look like they have been changed! The bathroom tiles were dark where you can see the tiles are suppose to be a lighter color. We did not want to touch anything! Not conducive for elderly or disabled individuals. We booked this because of the proximity to the port. DO NOT BOOK this property. We left and booked another place. They make there refund policy restrictive because they know people will leave once they see the rooms. In this way they try to keep your money without rendering service. They would not even take Expedia’s calls! "

"Although we did not get to see any whale sharks due to environmental factors beyond the resorts control. We were met by the staff with smiles and checked into our room immediately. once we settled in our room we went to sit and enjoy the ocean side and were met by Ralf the owner. he along with all the staff were very welcoming and informative as to the diving activities and gave us a personal tour of the resort, I noticed he does this for all guests. the food was excellent and we enjoyed the group meals together. It was a nice way to meet the other guests. the dive guides were excellent and dive boats were a nice change from the usual Philippine dive boats. The kitchen staff were all so friendly and helpful, and caring. When we left they all came out to say bye. Pintuyan Dive resort is a very personal experience. We didn't feel like we were just a customer, more like a house guest with friends. We will definitely be recommending Pintuyan Dive resort to Friends and Colleagues. "

"We stayed fot an overnight stay to be closer to the airport for sn early morning flight. The rooms are comfortable and clean.The hotel staff were very accommodating and very nice and friendly.."

"Our stay in Surigao was absolute bliss!! Although this place is old and has been badly affected by typhoon Odette a couple of years ago and is still undergoing renovations. The location was gold! The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Its location is in their famous Mabua Pebble Beach, Surigao City, and on the foot of a mountain and with some 300 steps you get the most amazing view. It is also a fishing village and I've spent every night just watching the fishermen on their boats catching squid. They come back around 11pm and go back out again to catch fish and come back early morning. I have never seen a full functioning fishing village. I am in awe at the simplicity of the life here. And the sunset...well...it was exceptional 👌 Highly recommend this place 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟🌟one day I will come back and I will definitely stay here again."
