The apartment itself was modern, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to cook meals after long days of exploring. The large windows offered stunning views of the surrounding nature, and we loved waking up to the peaceful Icelandic landscape every morning. The location is also ideal—just a short drive from Reykjavik and perfectly situated for day trips to the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon, and South Coast. There’s a grocery store nearby and free parking, which made everything convenient. We really appreciated the quiet and cozy atmosphere, the thoughtful design of the space, and the overall value for money. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Iceland—whether you’re staying for a few days or a few weeks, Icelandic Apartments is the perfect place to stay!"

"This hotel was easy to find, and the shower was the best we have had in weeks. After a 26-day cruise, we spent 20 days driving thru Europe and slept in 14 different places. This room was spacious with easily adjustable temperature control and comfortable bed. There was a sport bar run by Gunnar and Camilla that had excellent food that met our needs. Being a sports bar, the menu was limited; but the food was great! We would definitely recommend staying here."

"I like the isolation and the come and go as you please atmosphere. The view is amazing and there is limited staff around. It was as if you were on your own little island. A beautiful place and I would definitely stay again. "

"Really cool place. Staff was completely amazing. Above and beyond. And the breakfast was one of the most amazing I’ve ever had! I’d go back just for that!! The berry juice was so good, and so much variety. The restaurant looks out over the lake. Hot tub was just ok. Area around the hotel very pretty. Room was very spacious and well appointed, if dated in style. Removed one star for a musty smell and the very weird decor, including a strange and out of place Mexico theme. "
