"We saw all the terrible reviews on our way to this stay so we were definitely nervous! "We have stayed here many times with variable opinions each time. The location is fabulous but the place is beginning to look tired and in need of a good refurbishment, especially the bathrooms. It is a large property and the inflated price reflects the location not the property itself, considering you only get one set of towels per person, have to strip beds and clean at the end of the stay otherwise you are charged. "Terrible overall, we did not stay. Left upon checking in. The front desk was helpful Very hard to find the reception upon arrival. Is a huge complex, shared with other hosts. It is more like residential buildings, looked very creepy and unsafe. Very outdated, old…. bad crowd everywhere, like street trash….the room was with no double queen or king beds…. old apartments We left right away"

"Location is solid. However, I will flag a few things: -Get ready to walk up a few stair cases inside the building depending where your room is. -at night you do hear quite a bit of street noise. I’m talking about 4,5,6am. A car driving (I think it’s some type of trash service or something at the time) -some reviews I saw before booking mentioned possible bed bugs which of course had me a bit unsettled but can confirm there were ZERO. All that being said, I would book there again. "

"I stayed at Villa Marina Cannes in August 2024. Villa Marina Cannes is a regular building with apartments for rent. The apartment was listed as a 2-bedroom under the Bedroom information, it turned out to be a 1 bedroom with sofa-bed, which was very uncomfortable as we were 3 adults and a 2 year old child. "Didnt like anything in this property! be aware this is a small studio apartment that been divided to create a closet size "1 bedroom". while the view is ocean view no one shows the pictures of the "complex" and the corridors. "I spent 4 nights at this beautiful property and I enjoyed every minute of it. This hotel is so luxurious you will not be disappointed. All the staff were so friendly and very accommodating. The area is perfect, tons of dining options and luxury stores all walking distance. I definitely recommend staying here, 10/10 experience and I can’t wait to return."
