"The hotel is just out of the hussle and bustle of Kandy city - about a 15min Tuktuk ride. Perfect to see all the sights in and around Kandy and then come back and relax in peace and quiet. "Dirty beds, bedsheets and bathroom. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Bathroom was leaking and dirty with spiders and spiderwebs. Room is like a jail, no windows. It was a horrible experience. I advise travellers to stay at Hatton and travel to Nallandeniya on time to clime Adam's peak."

"Stayed for 3 nights here. The hotel, staff and service were great. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent; dined one night at the bar beside the pool and the fried vegetarian wraps were delicious. Pool was clean and so refreshing. Easy to walk into the city for eating options. Overall, enjoyed it here!"

Garden paradise within the lively Kandy city

"Fantastic stay at Marvel Hills. Sarath is the perfect host, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast offerings were plentiful both traditional and western. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Sarath organised a TukTuk for us for a day with a friendly local. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning. "
