"Quaint cabins in a remote part of Texas. Might be a little challenging to find during the day, but damn near impossible to find at night, despite the elaborate instructions sent. They desperately need a LIGHTED sign. Had to call them to get the door access code. The no potable water threw me at first, but they provided bottled water, so it really wasn't an issue. "

"Stardust Big Bend is worth 6 stars!! We looked high and low for a rental that met our needs and this far exceeded our expectations. It is conveniently located near Big Bend NP and very close to many local dining options. The A-Frame is the star of the show. Clean and modern, NOT an old cabin or trailer. A private bathroom with indoor plumbing that worked flawlessly as well as hot water. The bed was comfortable and all the linens were clean and smelled fresh. Stop looking and book it already,...

"This is a beautiful facility in a beautiful location. Five stars except that it advertises that there is wifi in the rooms. We had no service. I emailed the address given via my phone but received no response whatever. This doesn't detract much from the otherwise great experience. But, for the price, the property should fulfill its advertised representations. It was disrespectful not to respond to my query at all."

"This really was a great value in alpine. It was about half the price of the higher end hotels in town. The room that I was given was newly renovated, and it was super clean. The bathroom was clean and fully functional, and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner had an accurate thermostat, and it worked great. The gentleman that assisted me in check-in was friendly and efficient. In room coffee was available in my room as well."
