"The place looks like it’s recently been remodeled. Clean. Comfortable. Has a pretty courtyard near the rooms facing inward. As a woman traveling alone, I wondered if I would feel safe in a one-story with exterior entrance. It was well lit, and there were a couple of families around. Felt safe, and I got a good nights sleep. "

"The property itself was great—we stayed in Building 6, which did not have a sign that said 6. When we arrived, it was dark and difficult to see where we were supposed to be, but the staff did help out. Great breakfast."

"Hotel is beautiful and made to fit right into the feel of old downtown Fredericksburg. Staff was friendly and welcoming, really nice. Immaculate rooms. Awesome big bar, and be sure to check out the amazing sculpture right off the lobby. A couple wishes: - Although coffee is available 24 hrs on request, I would have preferred to have a coffeemaker in the room. - Room needs a mirror (preferably full length) in the bedroom area so a person can be getting ready when the bathroom is in use. We definitely enjoyed our stay and look forward to the next time. "

"A beautiful place. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice and unique place to stay. The lodge we stayed in was really nice with a bar and a pool table. The food was really good, the underground pool is very cool, and we really enjoyed both live music and sound bath both done by Keith. We look forward to staying again one of these days."

"Great property in the hill country. You can tell no detail was left out when planning this resort. Very beautiful location and not far from downtown Austin. Sometimes it was hard to believe that the city was nearby. I loved the multiple restaurant options and that the fare was being sourced locally with selections to cater to multiple dietary needs. Self-parking is great! Especially if you don't want to pay the crazy high valet price. To each their own. Jim Bob's Bar and Lounge was intimate and cozy; but the staff, although nice, could have been a little more attentive. The bartenders were multitasking and even seemed overwhelmed at times. Not sure if this is an every day occurrence or just because it was Valentine's/holiday weekend. The spa was amazing and will definitely be back for that! If we were staying longer we would also have hit up the fitness center too. Everything was top notch. Friendly and supportive staff as well. Trust me, that can be a deal breaker for many people. Will gladly return and recommend this place to others. "
