"Es war ein Appartement mit 2 Schlafzimmern, Küche mit großem Kühlschrank und Wohnzimmer. Betten bequem, Schreibtisch vorhanden. Badezimmer verhältnismäßig klein, Duschabtrennung undicht, Wasser kam auf den Fußboden. Keine Klimaanlage, keine Mückenschutzgitter. An einem Abend laute Musik bis 0.30 h und Brandgeruch aus der Nachbarschaft. Frühstück verspätet, kein Büffet, Wartezeiten, aber dann doch in Ordnung. zentrale Lage in der Stadt zur Fußgängerzone und zur Uferpromenade"

"When we arrived tired from a touring holiday we were offered tea which we eagerly accepted. I believe I booked one room for us as a couple and our son but we were all thrilled when we realised we had a room each (two rooms) AND a lounge which had a balcony overlooking the lake. This made our stay. Breakfast was included and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in that area."

"We arrived at the hotel and realized that we were not registered at all!!! Luckily, there was a free room in the hotel but we paid 25% more than the price we were set!! We are asking for a refund!!"

"Parking on the street, we found a place in a side street about 100m from the hotel. Some of the staff could speak a little English, which is not usual in this category of hotels in this part of Turkey."

"The hotel is located off the main road between Ahlat and Adilcevaz, directly above the shore of Lake Van. (It is named after the date of the famous battle at nearby Malazgirt!) My room had stunning views over the lake and it was easy to access the beach for a swim. The water feels like silk! There is plenty of parking in front of the hotel. The staff are kind and helpful. Although the restaurant had a limited range of evening meals, I wasn’t too bothered. I thoroughly recommend 1071 Otel. "
