"Really enjoyed my stay here, a long weekend break on my motorcycle to attend the armistice commemorations in Ypres and visit sites around the area. From arrival the staff were great, finding somewhere secure to park my motorbike and dealing with a failed remote on the tv. Room was large and basic with nowhere to put clothes away, but plenty of space to put them on the spare beds. It is a decent walk into town (about 20 minutes) and that was fine for me. Not many amenities around the hotel, but...

"No towels… must rent them. No hand soap in bathroom or kitchen. Bed is not made must make it yourself. Dead bugs on floor. Hallway area was run down and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We paid extra for an ocean view room and did have a great view and overall felt relatively safe. "

"I was completely disappointed. I booked a room in a hotel and was "upgraded" to an apartment. That ment no service, there was no hairdryer or a water kettle. The hotel was supposed to have a pool etc. The front desk was closed so I had to check in and go for breakfast to a different hotel. The free parking apparently does not exist so I had to park (and pay) quite far away at a square and the staff in the other hotel could not do anything as they only give out the room key. If I wanted to stay...
