"The resort is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. And will someday be back. This was a return stay. We were at one of the bungalows at the edge of the property. Hopefully they do a better job creating a beautiful boundary from the trash on the other side of the fencing. Ruined the ambiance of the wall back to the bungalow in the afternoon. "

"Very quiet with excellent dining options. Everything worked including hot water & resort’s tuctucs made it easy to get to and from the resort’s beach club at the water’s edge ~ 400 meters downhill. "

"This is a great hotel. It's not directly on the beach so it's less expensive but has easy beach access and dedicated beach chairs. It is clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Kimberly, at the front desk, is absolutely WONDERFUL! The day manager was also pleasant and helpful when I had questions. I would give this hotel 5 stars for service were it not for the fact that Jesse needs to be retrained. He is always on his phone and is dismissive. The only other thing I don't love is that the nightly entertainment on the weekends is so loud. The singers and bands are good, just too loud to be enjoyable."

"This hotel is amazing! The beachfront location is unbeatable and I loved how private it is even though it’s right on the beach. Service, food and drinks were great! Room was spectacular…looked exactly like the photos. I only wish the hotel staff would’ve warned me about how long it takes to get out of Customs at the airport. It took us almost 3 hours…would’ve taken an earlier flight if i had gotten a heads up about the situation. "

The hotel itself is spotless, well-organized, and beautifully designed, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was a true highlight of our experience. Every dish was homemade with high-quality, fresh ingredients, and the flavors were simply outstanding. The fish, in particular, was fantastic! Restaurant servers Eduardo, Anthony, Omar, and Eliot were fantastic! Although we didn’t get a chance to try the diving center this time, we’re definitely considering it for our next visit. Overall, everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little resort. The owners Talia and Antonio, as well as all the staff, were so friendly, attentive and accommodating. We loved the peaceful little beach and being able to snorkel right off of the dock. Our cabana was cute and comfortable and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. The food served in the restaurant was also delicious! We took colectivos to easily get into town, which is about a 10 minute drive. We had a perfect trip and highly recommend Puerta Azul to anyone looking for a small, boutique experience in a quiet and peaceful setting, with easy access to all that west Roatan has to offer."
