Auckland Region Vacation Rentals

"Decent location, well appointed room but a little tired, amazing breakfast buffet! Top 10 in our 70 countries thus far. Room, lounge, chandlier restaurant all could have been a bit cleaner (especially compared to the rest of NZ hotels and restaurants which are typically spotless!). We arrived 15 min before 3pm and couldn't check into our room, so they took our bags and we had lunch. We checked in with them after eating to say we were going for a walk, NO PROBLEM they said, we'll certainly take your bags to your room, enjoy. 3 hours later we come back to no bags on the room. We went back downstairs to check, they can't find them?! Five minutes of searching they do, offering to call someone to take them up, no way! The place was packed with a wedding or something going on, no doubt it would be another hour if we did that. After 24 hours in transit just to get to NZ we needed fresh clothes! They dropped the ball there."

"Staff at all times were first class and nothing was a problem for them. The room was small but I was only there for one night so not a biggy. Very clean and so quiet. "

"Mira (excuse spelling if wrong) on the front desk is worth her weight in gold. After a cycling accident (on first day of entire holiday) they got me hospital, were extremely supportive and reassuring. Because i was seen quickly (with the hotel arrangement and help). I was able to carry on my holiday and really enjoy it. I just recommend her and this place enough. I hope whoever runs the place sees this as tge hotel and its staff are first rate."

"The property has an excellent location. Two ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly. The restaurant had good service. We asked for a late check out and got an extra hour. We also received a complementary bottle of wine."
