"Beautiful"

"We are a family of 6. We stayed 4 nights in 3 rooms (3 pax each room). Slept well. Comfortable bed. Nice shower/toilet. Practical layout. Breakfast offers wide spread of food and fruits. We enjoyed our breakfast during the 4 nights stay. Location wise it is very close to Oslo Sentral station which makes commute to Oslo airport a breeze. As the 4 nights stretched from Dec 31 2024 to Jan 4 2025 - there are parties in the night. We can hear the loud music in our rooms after midnight. For some...

"The rooms are quite small, for people with large suitcases. Other than that, they are minimal, which is good for creatives. I don't know what the leafy decor with the led lights is about; that could be improved."

"Sommerro is a nice high quality hotel very close to city centre. The rooms are nice and the hotel decor is very pleasant. The restaurants are rather disorganised but maybe that was due to New Year’s Eve: booked a table at TAK at 9:00 pm and won’t seated till 10:30pm. "Easy access from the train and beautiful!"

"It's our 2nd time back to this hotel for a short city stay. It's a super convenient location right next to the train station and the main city centre. The breakfast offering is extremely varied and plentiful, and really high quality which is constantly refreshed. Great for setting you up for the day. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Can highly recommend."

"Good hotel close to the train station. They did not clear the snow/ice immediately outside the hotel entrance so it was relatively treacherous crossing the road with luggage to go to the train station through the covered mall."

"The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the airport. Friendly staff. Clean, quiet and spacious room. I had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good. Ideal hotel for an overnight if one has a departure from the Oslo airport. Will stay again. "

"Staff was great. Every time I had a question, (and I had a lot) they bent over backward to help. I do wish they offered a shuttle to/from the metro. When you get off the train, it’s a 10-15 min walk uphill in the cold to return to the hotel. Also, I wish we had more dining options, but the free breakfast is a full breakfast which is nice. "Good quality hotel in an excellent location for Oslo city centre and all that is on offer. It was a little strange that the check-in desk is also the bar! Further, there were times when the staff were busy elsewhere meaning both check-in and bar were unattended which was not completely satisfactory. However, all the staff were excellent and helpful. The hotel itself has character and the rooms and communal areas were clean & tidy. Breakfast was good with a varied choice of hot and cold food....
