Les appartements et le terrain sont bien entretenus et c’est bien situé. Les propriétaires sont vraiment accueillants. C’était notre deuxième visite à cet endroit et et je le recommande.

Perfectly good budget accommodation
Posted 26 Dec 2018 on HotelsWe arrived late at night and had a 10 minute struggle to find “Reception.” That was because there isn’t one. In desperation I knocked on the door of what I assumed was a holiday apartment on the ground floor of a large house, which thankfully turned out to be the home of the owner/manager. Milene kindly showed us to our accommodation, which on first sight was more basic than I had anticipated, but which turned out to have pretty much all the amenities we needed for our holiday (with the possible exception of a fish slice!). The air conditioning in the bedrooms was excellent, and there is a good fan in the lounge/diner, however there was just one 2-seater sofa which was not enough. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, which also had 2 bathrooms, giving our daughter her own space. The kitchen had all we needed to self-cater, however there were no instructions on what to do with rubbish. There was no dishwasher (as advertised on Hotels.com), but there was a washing machine (which was not advertised on Hotels.com). It cost €4 per wash. The pool area was adequate and a great place to cool off at the end of a hot day. Noise from other guests was at an acceptable level. The immediate area is not the most attractive, however there are good beaches less than a 5 minute drive away. You would need a car to stay here, but beware the drive through the National Park is not for the faint-hearted! Deshaies is a 10 minute drive away and is fabulous! Wi-Fi wasn’t great. All in all a fab holiday.

Pour accéder au Domaine, il faut prendre l'impasse Bougainvillier (au niveau du Panneau sur la RN1) puis dans l'impasse le 1e parking à gauche, un portillon donne accès au Domaine et la réception est en contrebas. Nous allons travaille sur la signalétique.
L'indication Lave-vaisselle mise par erreur sera enlevée du descriptif. Nous attendons avec impatience les nouveaux aménagements de l'opérateur pour Internet à Deshaies, en attendant c'est bien de se déconnecter en vacances ;). Bonne année et à bientôt

Lovely bungalow, water views

Pros: We loved the kitchen, the terrace, and the location to the Ferry beach.
Cons: Put internet in the bedroom. With air conditioner only at night, add a fan to the BR. TV was in too hot of a room.
Location: Ferry beach is a must. Maison du Cacao only good if you love chocolate. Rent Snorkel gear at Jacques Cousteau rig (20 mins away).
Our bungalow was spacious, clean, and had a surprisingly great kitchen, which was a bonus for us since we love to cook. We had incredible views of the ocean from our terrace/porch area - which is where we spent the majority of our time when not touring Deshaies or swimming. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, giving us use of a grill on our terrace for barbecues.
Deshaies and surrounding area is not very good for walking around. There are roller-coaster like hills and turns everywhere, steep hills....so you need a car or take the bus. Fortunately for us, the one place where we could walk (steep hill but not too bad) was the Ferry Beach (the bungalow is actually in Ferry, not Deshaies). Perfect swimming and snorkeling. We loved it! We also made use of the swimming pool, which was clean, and not overpowering with chemicals.
We met a lovely couple at a nearby bungalow, but noted that the units are kind of close together. If you get a noisy crowd, it would help to also love the noise.
We were told that high-speed internet was not available, due to the mountains. So you'd be advised to download some movies on your computers / devices before travelling here, in order to watch something at night. The TV is not well placed. At the end of a day outside sometimes plunking down in a cool room is just the thing. But there's no internet in the bedroom, which is the only room the a/c covers.
Overall, a great stay, and a good price.

This oasis on the beautifull island of Guadeloupe is just wow! To me it is beyond all expectations. Is is a real paradise retreat. With a nice bungalow with exotic views of the tropic garden and ocean.
