Budget hotel
Posted 15 Jul 2019 on HotelsThe good: convenient location. The not so good: uncomfortable bed, broken lock on patio door so couldn't secure the room, no trash can in room, quite difficult getting in/out of shower due to bidet location. Consider this a budget hotel.

Nice hotel on the water front

Pros: The location.
Cons: Needs some updating and fix the leaky shower stall.
Location: Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The walk on the water front promenade is pleasant.
The hotel is located in the centre of town and is near the ferry dock. It is within walking distance to all the shops and 15 minutes walk to train station. Pleasant a helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Small hotel close to the centre and ship terminal

Pros: Central location. (But then, Desenzano centre is a bit of a walk (20 min) from the railway station.) Close to the passenger ship terminal.
Cons: The hotel apparently is in the process of renewing the flooring in the rooms, which is good. Wall-to-wall carpeting is so 80s.
Location: Desenzano is not that special, but ideal for both easy access to railway (for a day trip to Venice, for instance), and to the ships on Lake Garda.
Stayed here three nights. Room was OK. Clean, shower worked fine, etc. Window could have been a bit larger, but view was nice.

Clean and basic hotel

Excellent hotel

Pros: The staff were always friendly and helpful and even let me park my motorbike in a dining room that wasn't in use.
Cons: There was nothing i didn't like about the hotel and plan to return next year
Location: The hotel is on the front and less than a minute walk to the center with all the cafes and shops there is also the train station nearby.
The room was very clean and had a lovely view of the lake and mountains

great location and value
Posted 15 Oct 2015 on Hotelslocated right downtown, overlooking harbor, nice clean room, it can get little noisy since our room was facing the main street, but by 1pm everything was quiet. Loved Desenzano and would recommend to all my friends to stay in Hotel Plaza, staff very friendly.

Location and price are the offset.
Posted 30 May 2015 on HotelsLocated on the waterfront, it can get noisy when staying on the first floor. Beds are not the most comfortable and the room is outdated. Staff are friendly and helpful. Safe in the room is non-functional. On the whole,not bad, just run down.
