While the Cottage rooms would benefit from a refresh, i have had an excellent sleep and freshly cooked breakfast.

We stayed for one night and found the hotel to offer good value for the price we paid. Its location was very convenient for the Donington Park race circuit, which was a key factor for us. The restaurant was still open when we arrived late in the evening, with friendly service and reasonable pricing, though the menu options were somewhat limited. The accommodation, especially in the area away from the main house, could benefit from a refresh, but for a short stay at the price we paid, it met our needs. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we would consider staying again if the price remains competitive.

Beautiful place to stay
Posted 14 Oct 2024 on HotelsAbsolutely beautiful hotel! Looks like they're working on refurbishment/modernisation, which it does need in places. No central heating, only an electrical heater which didn't work very well. Luckily not a cold weekend when we stayed.
Lovely breakfast, very tasty sausages, could do with more choice or bread or some croissants.
Very nice and friendly staff, super helpful!
