The whole hotel is great, recently refurbished everywhere is new and very well maintained. The rooms were so comfortable, we slept so well. Breakfast was also excellent, great choices, great food and such lovely staff. There is nothing that we could fault. AND great value for money, the location is perfect for getting to, parking and the proximity to the city centre! Amazing.

The staff were so courteous and warm. Very helpful Sky in reception and Vanessa was excellent in the lounge in the evening. Despite a very large booking being expected they couldn’t do enough to ensure we were able to eat before going out for the evening. The servers too were warm and friendly and you actually felt like they cared about you and your stay.

We didn't have breakfast so know review on this. Room spotless and comfortable. Hotel is in great location. They were a bit pushy one night during to stay in to us getting food, we were asked 4 times within a short period of time, we hadn't asked for food we am had just gone for a drink in reception area.

Modern, Fresh, and Very Inviting

With a central location near the bus station, the Holiday Inn in Derby serves as an ideal overnight stay, conveniently located in the city centre and easily accessible by bus. Whilst it was being renovated around the stairwell, the services and room were modern, fresh, and very inviting after a morning's travelling to Derby. The location of the bathroom and its amenities is always a learning curve; it functions well and remains efficient for bathing and other hygienic purposes. The staff were friendly and supportive, even if you were uncertain about something, they remained eager to help. It was cheeky to offer a cheaper discount on breakfast the day before you plan to have it. There weren't any significant issues during my stay.
