Not sure why I had to pay $12.00 to park when I paid to spend the night - ridiculous!

It's understandable to feel frustrated about additional charges like parking fees when you've already paid for a stay. Many hotels, including some Holiday Inn Express locations, charge for parking due to limited space or external management of parking facilities.
