Property was under construction and very dated and needs lots of up keep to room

The unit we stayed in was disgusting. When we first arrived at 5:30, the main office was already closed. Check in was at 5. Then when we got to the room, it was dirty and some kind of pet hair all over. The bathrooms were falling apart and there was mold all over. If we had another place to stay, I would have left immediately. Thank goodness we were there only 1 night. Even the cable box was hanging from the wall. The remote was sticky and dirty. The fridge was loud!!! It was all we heard all night. I reached out to the front office and told them and all they said was that they appreciate the feedback and that they will do a deep clean. They should have done a deep clean for us. Yuck!

Carolyn, It's unfortunate that you did not enjoy your visit. You made no mention of any issues while you were here and you were certainly free to cancel your reservation if the conditions were not to your standards upon arrival. After hearing of your complaints, the room was checked and we did not see pet hair all over the place and we are unsure of what you mean when you say the bathrooms are falling apart- everything was in working order upon our inspection. Yes, the fridge was loud and we have remedied that as well as the hanging cable box. Our property is older and that is what most people love about it and that's why they choose us. We hope that you enjoyed your visit to Delray despite your complaints. Safe travels.

Location is great. You need to check with the hotel about their internet before booking

This place is a hidden gem. The staff is amazing, we have been unable move into our new place because the storms held up construction. It has been so nice to have a stress free environment while waiting.

The Hotel is perfectly located. Manager, Tracy and all the staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and clean. the proximity to the beach was an extra bonus… Love it. I will definitely return. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

The property was hard to find at night, but I finally found it. I got in late, around 11pm and the office was closed... ghost town. I tried to call the hotel and Expedia, with no luck. Luckily I noticed a small box outside of the office, labeled "after hours guests". Sure enough, there was an envelope inside with my name on it, containing my key. Very stressful until I discovered that. Would have been nice to know the office closes at such and such a time, and if you arrive after that, look in the box. Also, the property is very run down, but no big deal as I'm just sleeping and getting up for a meeting.

Mark, Typically when guests are arriving very late they call the hotel earlier in the day to inquire about late arrival procedures, had you done that you would have been told about the late arrival box. The box is very visible and clearly marked. Since you arrived so late, you did not see the renovations that are underway. I hope that your meeting went well. Safe travels.
