It’s a beautiful place, safe, clean and convenient. The Spa was unavailable, there were issues with the TV malfunction, that did not get fixed after calling the tech twice, lamp was broken. The chai cafe, was nice but 70 percent of the time the tea was served just warm. Ordered fries that were totally cold. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Inspite of some downsides we will stay here again.

Loved my stay at Shangri La hotel in new delhi. Super clean and spacious room, very nice and welcoming staff and I liked walking around the place. Walked to India gate several times from the hotel. The breakfast buffet is amazing and features dishes for every taste.

We only stayed there 1 night but did not feel like leaving. We were welcomed by very friendly and courteous staff. The dining options were very good with late night service available in the cafe. We could not use the pool as they had informed us of refurbishment works going on but they had tied up with the nearby Le Meridian so could have used that. Overall great place and very comfortable stay.

Avoid until renovations are complete.
Great hotel, it it is undergoing renovations at the moment. No pool, no gym, no spa and none of this was mentioned while making the booking. They will casually send you an email after the booking is complete and you are on your way. Best to avoid until renovations are done. Room service menu is extraordinarily expensive compared to most hotels in this league.
