I liked the restaurant upstairs. Breakfast served dail and dinner to order. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Small fridge services available which meant you didn’t have to go and buy snacks. Water provided as well. Close to metro.

Either Expedia failed to pay the property, or the property falsely claimed to have not received payment and double charged me. In either case I had to pay twice for a mediocre room.

When I arrived, there was building work going on. This went on all during the night. In the morning I went down for breakfast to be told the hotel didn’t have a kitchen anymore. When I looked up the stairwell, the hotel apparently didn’t seem to have a roof either!!! This is what they were working on - fitting new roof and kitchen. The room itself was awful - no window and a filthy shower that worked sometimes. NEVER AGAIN!

Not bad hotel. Good value for money. Recommend the Punjabi sweet centre for breakfast nearby.

We had an issue where we had a confirmed & paid for room thru Expedia. The hotel apparently hadnt had a voucher sent to them by Expedia. Surya International Hotel tried to palm the problem to us, expecting us to prove our booking (we had our confirmed paperwork) it took a good hour of 'discussion' to get the problem sorted. Some front desk staff need a lesson in politness! Some rooms are quite dingy & run down. Others have been refurbed. Im not sure whether all rooms will eventually be updated. Otherwise the location is OK.
