Refurbished rooms are so basic it’s no longer comfortable. No easy chair, clock or even a picture on the walls. The window had a solid blind. Either pitch black or open to all. A walking path is right in front of it. The shower is so dangerous Why would you put slippy glass wall times and nothing to hold onto. I had a choice of single beds and warm water ( as I’m disabled) that was the best you could offer us. Why control my sleeping situation and water temperature. I’m disabled not a fool No one even knew what a wet room was and assisted means being treated like a fool or child. No one could offer a solution for me to wash. Just terrible. Why would you not have assistance in bathrooms. I was offered the shower in the gym. Can you imagine that. Amputated ankle and fused spine so use the gym shower redress and return to your room really. Also workmen parking in disabled spaces leaving nothing for blue badge holders. No one even tried to recall them and move them on Your empathy is missing. But so are your less able guests now.

Handy location for visiting Chester. Hotel was experiencing a busy Saturday night, staff were great even though Automated check-in was malfunctioning. Room was tired, basic and pleasantly not affected by the function below. Would stay again. Thank You

Room was booked as a family room with use of the sofa bed, but had to go to reception to ask for it to be made up. Room was dark, with dated furniture and decor, and limited light sockets. Evening food was lovely but pricey along with expensive drinks, breakfast was basic.

Excellent staff.. ok food.. tired bedroom, can't understand why only 1 easy chair in a double room ??
