Check in was easy. Friendly staff. Room was clean. Breakfast was minimal.

Lobby needs upgrades. The first impression was not good but when we got to our rooms it was great. Excellent breakfast choices and well looked after. Excellent housekeeping. Good beds linens and bathroom supplies

When we got there (pretty late) the front desk was nice and accommodating. There was ok breakfast, it was quiet, the 2nd room they put us in was clean minus the shower head. (1st one had a spill and smelled weird.) For the price it was overall nice

We checked in and moved all our stuff up to the third floor and the key didn't work. After four trips down to the desk and back for new keys she finally moved us to a different room so we had to move all our stuff. That was the beginning of the poor experience. We were hurricane refugees from the West Coast. Our power came back on earlier than expected but they chose not refund two nights that were unused with more than 24 hours notice. The overnight front desk guy said normally they would refund that no problem but because of the hurricane they wanted a five night minimum. They're gouging hurricane victims. My house was in the eye of Milton. Luckily it wasn't as bad as feared and the power was on way earlier than expected...but they wouldn't refund the money... Manager refused. The hotel was emptying out when I left but manager tried to claim that it was full? Not sure what that was about. They made the decision to keep about $500 from me because they wanted to make a quick buck on hurricane refugees. It's appalling behavior.

This policy was necessary to manage room availability effectively and to provide a safe refuge for everyone, including allowing pets to stay, which is not our usual policy.We assure you there was no price gouging, and we strived to remain the most affordable option in the area during the hurricane. We regret any misunderstanding and appreciate your feedback, which helps us improve our services.We hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future under more favorable circumstances.

We chose this hotel because it was still available on short notice and because it was very reasonable. It looks like a boutique hotel. We loved the hot water in the bathroom snd the bed was comfortable. We also were pleased when we needed help. The front desk person was very swift in fixing the door lock. Our friends had a number of things wrong with their room but the help came quickly in replacing the light and other features. The one thing that drove us crazy was the street racing cars at all times of the day and night! The police need to deal with this serious situation. BW should invest a little money in this hotel and promote it as an old Florida feel hotel. We stayed here one week. I miss the hot water on demand and the beds. The staff were very friendly, too.
