Very Good Stay

We stay at budget-end motels as we travel, which sometimes are more underwhelming than we prefer. We understand this. Such was not the case at Super 8 DeWitt. The facility was nicely clean and quiet and secure. The management was very responsive to our requests and extremely helpful. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a number of items beyond the traditional Super 8 waffles, including biscuits and gravy, as well as sausage links and much more.

The property was clean and quiet. The staff was courteous. Only thing I don’t like is it didn’t have a elevator.

Found a dirty sock that wasn't mine in the bed. Were sheets changed? Blankets on bed were tattered. Heater did not work in room, a space heater was plugged in. Key card lock on door didn't work (you could just open the door without a key) so the latch over the door was always on. The area wasn't really sketchy but happy they allowed my dog, as it made me feel safer. Front desk staff were nice. The mattress outback should get pitched. The front lobby and things in general were dated but clean (outside of the sock, mattress and tattered blankets).
