Wonderful, clean, spacious, relaxing. Many things for the kids to do- soccer field, trampoline, pedal go-carts. The room had a great deck on the canal where we had every meal and watched the sunset. Perfect- we rebooked before we left!

While it was a bit out of the way and hard to find (pay attention to the directions that they send you!) it was well worth the effort. Located on a farm, the rooms were perfect for our family and very reasonably priced. The family was very welcoming and the area was beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to see Holland, but don't really want to stay in the city itself.

Pros: The view from the room was excellent
Cons: It would be better if they can accept credit and debit card for payment(They only accept cash or online bank transfer).
This hotel has got nice view from the room and the information provided by the hotel were very useful. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overall very pleasant experience. Kids enjoyed the cart provided by the hotel without any charges.

Wonderful hosts, peaceful stay, gorgeous canal
Posted 6 Aug 2015 on HotelsThis is a lovely little apartment with two bedrooms upstairs and a full kitchen and bath downstairs, and sliding doors from the kitchen onto a wooden deck overlooking the farm. It was perfect for us, a couple with three children (there were three twin beds in one room and a queen in the other). It's a dairy farm with cows, sheep, and ducks just off the deck. The property is crossed by paths so you can walk/bike along the canal, which is beautiful beyond belief, particularly around sunset. The farmer let my 11-year-old daughter help him milk the cows on our second morning. Everyone is so kind and relaxed. There are some interesting restaurants nearby, but if the weather is nice I suggest picking up groceries in the Albert Heine in town and having dinner on the deck.

Though it would be great but I was mistaken

After the price increased twice from the original booking price and refused towels during my stay. It is a very family friendly environment if your ok with being charged more upon arrival because the odds of you leaving are slim. I was charged 50 euro for a cleaning fee although the floor was horrible. I wiped down an area for my child to crawl and the amount of dirt was appalling. Another thing that is not included in the initial advertisement is that they will charge you extra for every child no matter the age. I was charged extra for an 8 month old because she too uses water and electricity although she is exclusively nursed. I would caution anyone interested in staying here! The price is good online but you will in total end up paying double to what the initial posted price is once you arrive!

Guests wanted to stay with more than 5 persons. Than a charge of (only 5 euros per night) is applicable. We sent an email when the booking was made to clearify what is included and what not. So she should have know all details No reply was given. Upon arrival the woman said she did not read that 50 euros for cleaning comes to it. Was also very upset about 5 euros per set of towels (2 towels, not 1). And than she complained about the 5 euros extra for the little child. Normally we can work things out, but it has also to with the tone.... The woman was not nice and to "get back to us" she told us to write a bad review......
