Wasn't informed about a $250 security deposit until I arrived at the property. Was unable to check in because I didn't have the extra $$ after paying for the room thru Expedia. They did however Mark down that I checked in and charged me for not one, but 2 days stay! Would never again book here. Piss poor management.

Sarah, I am sorry that you feel so strongly about the miscommunication. I had spoken with you partner earlier that day to confirm. I did tell him about deposit and he told me you guys would talk about it and get back with me. I never received a call back and had saved your room. Please revert back to the cancellation policy with the 3rd party you booked with. I do hope you give us another chance, as our property and management are implementing great improvements to ensure our guests have a wonderful experience with us.

The manager is friendly. She took care of any issues I had. Upstair roooms are nicer then downstairs. Beach is across the street but you have to walk down a bit to get to the open beach access spot.

Pretty good value for the price. Everything was pretty clean, but there was still clearly a roach infestation. Until they post proof of extermination, I would pack a can of Raid.

Had to call to get them to change the sheets as there was blood on them, only got 2 sets of towels even though they knew there was 4 of us staying there. Tried all day Saturday to get in touch with them only to get a call back Saturday night saying no one was at the property that day and they could bring towels in the morning (which is when we we're checking out) which no one did. Roach in the bathroom.

Hello. I am sorry for your sheets. We responded immediately to the changing of the sheets as you know. I asked you if there was anything else at all needed and you responded no. We do get palmetto bugs once in a while because it's Florida. I am sorry about that.

I didn’t stay drove 8 hours to have a room infested with roach bugs (not palmetto bugs) and had to find another motel because couldn’t get any answer on phone from studio 1.

This is our 3rd year in a row staying at Studio 1 for a Daytona trip. You cannot beat the morning sunrise view and easy beach access. Very comfortable amenities.
