I like that the property was really close to the beach. It was a two minute walk from our room and the pool and spa area was clean and convenient to get to. We had plenty of towels in the bathroom and in the kitchen. The bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable. The room itself was quite outdated. There was no hot water in the morning due to renovations that they had planned, but they didn’t inform us that this would affect the hot water in the morning. One of the toilets didn’t flush. Some of the dishes were not very clean. There was no sponge to wash dishes with, but they did give soap and detergent for the dishwasher, which was a plus. Everything in the kitchen worked, but you can see some of the cabinets have suffered water damage, and it would be good to see the suite renovated. The rooms were quite warm, especially the bedroom, with the windows facing the pool. The second bedroom was separated from the master bedroom with a sliding door.

At check in the staff & maintenance men were arguing with each other. There were no other issues with staff after. The AC in our room wasn't working so we called the front. Maintenance came right away & spent about 45 minutes clearing the drain & replacing the filter. He got it working again. It says they Check out the cost for a lost room key! These are your regular tap style keys that are cheap, easily disabled, & easily replaced. That & the list of chores made us feel like they were looking for a way to add additional charges. Check-in is earlier than most other resorts in Daytona at 10 a.m. The pool is nice with a depth of 8"10. Hot tub as well. Not very busy. Kitchens were well stocked. Plenty of towels provided. Only one elevator works. No beach access from property. Public access is right next door. The restaurant on site is closed. The beds are very squeaky. Blankets were comfortable & extra linens for the pull out couch were in the closet. You must take your own garbage out to the dumpster at the front of the property. You must also strip all linens. Most resorts only ask you to place all dishes in the dishwasher. Beach area is high traffic since it's next to public access, including driving onto the beach. I appreciated the space. Overall, I would stay elsewhere for similar money to have more amenities, later check out, & not so many chores to do on my short vacation.

Thank you for the feedback Domino. We apologize for the bumpy start to your stay with our staff but we are glad you did not experience any further issues. We are also happy to see that our maintenance staff quickly resolved your AC issue. We would also like to correct the information you provided in your review, and would have gladly explained had you asked at any time during your stay. The lost room key fee is for the other building which has standard keys, not electronic ones. We do not charge a fee for missing plastic key cards, only to rekey door knobs for those without the electronic components. Our check out is at 10:00 a.m. which is similar to most timeshares on our coast. This ensures time to get our larger condo units cleaned which take more time than a traditional hotel room which does not have a full sized kitchen, family room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms as you had here during your stay. The direct beach access from our location was damaged in hurricanes Ian and Nicole and like many of the properties on the beachside, we are still working on the recovery efforts from the damages sustained from those storms. We do have public beach access just steps away from our back lot, giving our guests convenient easy access to the beach while we are making repairs. Our area is the jewel of Daytona Beach and will be a bit busier now that the official main entrance to the beach, the International Speedway Beach Access, is under construction. Since we are a condominium and not a hotel, we do ask that our guests treat our units as they would their own home and we do have a request that the room be left with sheets stripped and to place dishes in the dishwasher prior to your departure, much like any AirBnB or VRBO which usually carry the same requests. There are trash cans located on each floor for ease of use so that our guests do not have to walk to the dumpster. That said, there is no additional fees for not completing those tasks.

Really nice staff cute lil cafe/ice cream shop in lobby food was great there short walk to pier n on beach would definitely book here again
