For the price it was a good stay. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. My negative rating is because I was overcharged. Even though I provided information showing this, I was locked out of my room and had to pay an additional amount before they would allow me access to the room that I had already pre-paid through Expedia. I understand the difference between a "pending charge" and a "completed transaction".

This stay started with Courteous Staff and quick check in. Our room was spacious and clean. The Amenities (pool & hot tub) both were warm and very pleasant. Amazing!!! Our bed was comfortable and we slep wonderfully without a loud heater. Breakfast is always a bonus, and some people judge their whole stay on the continential breakfast. I am not one. They offer a simple breakfast with waffles, breads, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt and beverages. I would definately patronize this establishment again. Great stay.

I was in town for a tournament, but didn't play until Sunday afternoon so I walked from the room to the Duck Creek Trailhead just down the road and enjoyed a nice 5 mile walk while killing time.

Staff at front counter was rude to a handicap customer trying to get info about her reservation. There establishment doesn't rent rooms out to locals and they do not allow long term stays. Side door was always unlocked unless you slammed it shut. Bed slept good and was comfortable.

Room was infested with bed bugs. Got bit on my legs, shoulders, arms and neck. There was a blood stain on the pillow when I woke up. After I noticed the bites I looked in the corner of the mattress and it was covered in bed bug poop. I only asked for a partial refund. They denied me. I said I would leave an honest review if they did not make it right. They agreed to a refund, but said I had to do it through expedia. Expedia called the manager who said I could have a one day refund out of two and then told the expedia customer service he would not approve a refund. So unless you want to get your car, office and home infested with bed bugs I would pay more money to stay at a place who honors their customers. They were not very nice at all and wanted to see the pictures on my phone. which is not legal.
