Ask for room near front of bldg for better wifi

They placed us in a room with no wifi, fan in bathroom was evidently dusty and slow shower. Had to complain. They couldn't transfer us immediately and had to wait til next day. The next room had wifi, not so strong shower but better than previous room. Location is good though. Near everything

No frills and on demand type of hostel

It's ok. No frills type hotel. Good location since a few meters from CM Recto but a bit noisy at times. A few resto outside, convenience and drug store nearby. Depends on the room you get. Many staffs but cleaning room and towels are on demand.
