Was very Leary when approaching the property looks like a condemned building but once inside the common area and room were very neat and well kept

Sketchy area, felt very unsafe and had people banging on my door in the night (they were on something, commotion in the halls). Air conditioning was on and off not working. Nobody to help with anything on site, everything is done remotely. door code that was sent was wrong on both days, the second time I was stuck outside for 30 minutes on the hottest day of the year waiting for someone to get back to me. It was clean but wouldn’t stay again.

When you first arrive, it doesn’t look like much on the inside. The rooms are fantastic, feels like home. Very nice set up, lovely kitchen. Will definitely come again.

Spent 1 night at this property. The bed waa amazing and everything was clean. It was so easy to book online and extremely easy to self check in. All the communication from the staff was extremely explanatory and so simple to follow. Definitely rate this place a 5 star. Centrally located to access places in dartmouth and the halifax bridges. Will stay here again for sure. 2 thumbs up.

The room that I had was spacious. Peer who manages the building communicates well and offered kindly if I need anything else. The Darmouth area is very close to downtown Halifax like 7 to 10 minutes and easy access to highways if you travel via vehicle.

Windows smashed out of the side of the building made the property looks sketchy, broken beer bottles in the parking lot. Sheers in windows of the room so couldn’t block out light. Room was fine, bed uncomfortable.

My stay at the urban nest was an excellent experience. Easy to find location close to downtown, an abundance of above ground parking, and hey, a Tim Horton's right nearby. The instructions for keyless entry for the building and room were clear and worked flawlessly. My room was clean, neat with TV, small fridge, sink, dishes and utensils. Perfect for my needs. The bed, pillows, duvet and mattress were fresh and clean. I had a great sleep. Bathroom was also good and shower water temp/pressure were better than at my home. I consider the Urban Nest to be an excellent value for my needs in short trips to the Halifax/Dartmouth area. Rather than spend three times as much to impress someone else in a chain hotel, I feel more impressed with this place. I will definitely return to Urban Nest for my future day trips Dartmouth/Halifax.
