Posted 23 Oct 2020 on HotelsThe Devonport is a very friendly, efficiently run gastro pub and restaurant with boutique rooms. All the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Covid precautions were all in place. The food quality was excellent and reasonably priced. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and stylish with all the amenities you would need. I would definitely recommend the Devonport for both dining and for their accommodation. I look forward to returning.

My parents lived in the village for years, so I've known the hotel/bar/restaurant for a long time and must say, that the new owners have really put a lot of effort into updating it into a very beautiful place. The staff are so friendly and very efficient and the food is absolutely delicious! Looking forward to a return visit.
