We had 2 days in new building(not heritage)and overall experience was good w.r.t staff behaviour,rooms. Buffet breakfast was good. Food quality was good though it was bit costly.

Old property needs to be restored

Posted 18 Nov 2015 on HotelsNot worthy at all… We stayed here for one night in standard room and trust me we had never encountered such a pathetic hotel in our life. Old building with shaky wooden floors, outdated furniture, no heater in the dining (restaurant), very dim lightning, no Wifi, fireplace without fire, insufficient amenities in the bathroom, shower was out of order and one had to make use of bucket, the spider in the bathroom and the disturbance caused by the mouse in midnight was absolutely disgusting. Though we got a warm welcome by the hotel staff when we had checked in and were told that it was a 'heritage’ hotel we never got such kind of feeling during our one day stay at the hotel. Well, what one could say is that the pictures of the room that were available online at the time of booking were quite contrary and deceptive. It’s not a star hotel, not worthy of the price (Rs 3k).

1週間ダージリンに奥さんと滞在した際、こちらのホテルを利用させて頂きました。こちらは避暑地にふさわしく非常に静かな環境で気持ちよく過ごすことができます。また天候に恵まれれば屋上から世界3位の標高を誇るカンチェンジュンガ等素晴らしい景色も眺望できるかもしれません。
更にホテルスタッフの素晴らしいサービス、特に以下の3点を挙げさせてください。
まず1点目は、フロントの方々の対応です。
タクシーの手配を依頼した際、ホテルの前は一方通行のため、買い物エリアまで大幅に時間がかかること、また日本寺まで依頼した際は、ホテルの離れた駐車場で下車することなど細かく教えてくれました。
また、体調を崩した際、薬局の場所を教えてくれたり、高山病ではないかと考え、酸素ボンベまでご用意頂きました。体調が戻るまでスタッフ全員が気遣ってくれ非常に暖かさを感じました。
2点目は、レストランのスタッフ、特にマネージャーのRojayさんとPahinさんは初日から素敵な笑顔で私たち夫婦を出迎えてくれ、体調が悪い時にはルームサービスで提供できそうなメニューを提案してもらい嬉しく思いました。
3点目は、ルームサービスの方々です。
彼女たちは、基本的な清掃はもちろんのこと、我々が好んでサービスのティーパックを飲むのを見て、多めに置いてくれていたのは驚きと嬉しさがありました。
総じてこちらでの滞在は現地の方々の暖かさと日本人の感覚に近いおもてなしの心を感じ、非常に思い出深い旅となりました。
皆さま本当にありがとうございました。

最高の景色!
Posted 19 Nov 2017 on Hotels歴史を感じる古い洋館という感じで、大英帝国統治時代を思い出させる作りでした。部屋からのカンチャンジュンガの景色は最高でした。暖炉は使えたら最高でしたが、やはり飾りだけでした。寒い季節だったのでヒーターがあればもっと良かったかと。スタッフは友好的で、一生懸命働いてくれました。ウェルカム・ティーと言って紅茶を出してくれましたが、できたら砂糖やマサラの入っていないストレートなダージリンティーだったら最高だったのにと思いました。でも、楽しく過ごさせていただきました。

This hotel sucks.

Location: The center of the city is around bazaar, not around railway station.
TERRIBLE in every point. Costly but not worthy hotel ever.
Comfort: there is no equipment for cold weather in Darjeeling. You cannot expect the fire places as pictures show. These are out of service.
Staff: You better not book any tours here. Exp, in order to go to Tiger hill, we ended up paying 10 times the rate of average. The problem is that the owner used lead-to-misunderstand words when we booked. We protested, but the owner persisted in with huge excuses untill we gave up.
Cleanliness: Awful. in the room we stayed laid dead moth.
