I was surprised how lovely the interior of the hotel was as I walked through it. The room was nice and the front desk staff were helpful, as noted in other reviews. The breakfast was a basic continental one: toast, 2 eggs, fruit, juice and coffee or tea.
A lobby sign states the AM & PM hours when hot water is available in your room. If you miss those hours, you'll need to request a bucket of hot water to be sent up.
The hotel is freezing, including the room. You'll need to request a heater for your room, which wil have a plug suitable for only 1 outlet; not really near the bed. Even the restaurant is cold. You & the waiter will be wearing your Winter coats in there! After the 1st day, I ate breakfast in my room each morning in front of my heater.
They phoned me 7:30am on my 1st day to ask what time I would be coming down to breakfast! Posted breakfast hours state 7:30am-9:30am, so why wake me with an unnecessary call? I needed my sleep: "Breakfast ends at 9:30; I'll be down sometime before that." She said the last order is taken at 9:15am (then why have a window of time which ends at 9:30? Just say breakfast is from 7:30am-9:15am!). 1 hour later, the front desk called with the same question! (the restaurant obviously requested they call me). I disconnected my phone after that. The final morning, I received another 7:30am call asking when I want breakfast!
They ignore the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on your door too; it really only keeps housekeeping away.
