This is undoubtedly the most friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. All the staff have that southern charm. I was particularly impressed with the kindness and hospitality of Brenda at the bistro. The breakfast there is excellent by the way. This will be my go to place whenever I am in Dalton. The only downside is that there is not much around the hotel, but it is very close to, and within easy walking distance of, Dalton State College.

It was a convenient spot to stop and I’ve liked other courtyard properties but this one was not my favorite. Aside from the clientele being loud and drunk, which is not the property’s fault, the accessible room had really high beds making it tough for a person with mobility issues to get in and out of. In the evening, drunk adult men knocked on our door and then kept walking. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30am on a Sunday to clean the room and opened the door, I was walking to the door at the time and said, “we’re still here”, so she said ok but no apology. So, not peaceful but at least it’s clean.
