"Stället är ganska slitet. Sängkläder skulle ingå men fanns ej när vi kom dit (och så dags fanns ingen att kontakta). Ligger bredvid massabruk, så det luktar inte så gott ute (men man vänjer sig snabbt). Luktade unket inomhus (tog lite längre tid att vänja sig). Diskmaskinen trasig. "We enjoyed our stay at the Stadshotell. The room was great overall, although it could use more counter space in the bathroom. Frukost was great, although you need to learn to make CRISPY bacon, not lumps of fat. Restaurant menu was outstanding. You need a photo of Amal's most famous singer in the hallway: GUNNEL EKLUND, instead of all the blues singers who have no genuine connection to the city."

"The staff was not present for check in and we had to wait a long time. Despite great weather the staff did not open the pool. Broken shower door and broken furniture at breakfast. Staff refused to put out more breakfast despite many guests arriving 15 min before breakfast closed, so we did not get proper breakfast or even coffee. This place needs to rethink. "

"The facilities were good, clean and the staff was always very helpful. The only concern was on our first night stay when the fire alarm went off at 10:30pm and there was no one there to direct the guests on what to do or where to go. After half an hour someone finally came and turned the alarm off. There was no response from the fire department!"

"These are nice little cottages with some beautiful scenery. You check in at the hotel/restaurant, then drive up the hill to the cottages. They are nicely equipped with a kitchenette, so you can have a nice meal overlooking the lake. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful."
