Very imaginative menu and good value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Modern building - very attractive. Simple room with all I needed. Great location. Thoroughly recommended

Everything was wonderful except that the bed mattress was quite soft and uncomfortable and there was no fridge (although there was a stove) in the room.

The views are stunning, and a good base to visit orher areas.

I stayed here for a night with some friends. Staff was very friendly and welcoming and the rooms were nice and comfortable and clean. Parking was ample. Would certainly recommend you stay here if in the area.

Nature, at the top of Loch Awe, walkable to the Dam on Ben Cruhan and near the hidden-in-the-mountain, (Think James Bond) electric plant that offers tours. On train line that goes from Oban to Glasgow, transfer a few stops sooner to go up to the Great Glen, Fort Williams and the like.

The view from my room was just simply amazing!!.....the room was also well equipped and clean, also not forgetting the staff who was super friendly and helpful when checking us in. I would definitely like to come back a second time when i am around the area.

Friendly Inn on Loch Awe
Posted 16 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe had a wonderful stay at the Ben Cruachan Inn. Our room was large, comfortable and modern. Friendly and very helpful staff, and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. We loved hanging out at the bar / lounge area which was cozy and fun. Plenty of parking. Good room amenities (minus refrigerator). Lovely area within walking distance to Lock Awe and St Conan's Kirk, and a short drive to Kilchurn Castle. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would plan to stay here again in the future.
