The property was a lot older than I thought. The rooms were old and outdated and the bathroom was so small. The view was nice and that’s the only positive thing I can say. For the price you pay you would think it would be more modern. Valet took an hour finding my car before I left. I had to go outside and ask them what was going on after an hour had passed. Also, overnight parking is over $50! You would think for that price valet would be on top of things. I’d def never stay here again :(

Kevin the front desk greeted us and was very professional and friendly. However, we were very unhappy because the shower water was not hot, and it took over 10 mins for it to get warm. The sink water was warmer than the shower. I provided feedback to the front desk when I checked out the following day. Other than the water, our room was clean, and our city view was nice.

Needed towels because the ones I received had hair on them and were stained . They told me to come down to get new ones. The keurig coffee machine was not working and sent me another one that also didn’t work . Kitchen was closed so no coffee unless I go to Starbucks . 3 star hotels at least offer coffee to their customers. Will not return to the Fairmount Dallas . It should be a two star hotel versus four .

I had to call the front desk for body wash and shampoo. We had trouble with the AC. Otherwise nice and clean hotel.

The hotel is pretty run down and feels drab. They haven't renovated in a LONG time. The rooms and hallways had peeling paint on the doors and rims and just felt really sad and run down. It was clean and the beds were comfortable but the pillows haven't been changed since like the 90's like the decor and the rugs. It was walking distance to the Aquarium which is why we stayed there and felt pretty safe. It had a Starbucks on the bottom floor which was also nice, but probably won't be staying there again. The Renaissance was better.
