Very helpful staff at Cato's Inn
Posted 6 Dec 2018 on HotelsSpent one night in Shaxi so that we could see the big area Market. The person at Reception (Nancy) was very helpful and spoke good English. The room was adequate but we could hear the street noise a bit.

Nice hotel in the old part of Shaxi town

Pros: Location, English speaking hosts
We only stayed for one night and it should have been two nights. Cato and Nancy are friendly hosts who speak English fluently. They are very helpful and willing to provide suggestions about things to do in Shaxi. There are several mountain bikee which can be used. Although it is a small hotel, the choice for breakfast is more than enough.
