Chose this hotel mainly because it had a restaurant. I was going to be arriving Sunday evening and thought dinner would not be a problem. Restaurant only open Monday to Thursday. Main road of Dalby under repair through the night. Generator outside my room to power flood lights. Didn’t get much sleep. If I had known about out the road works I would have booked somewhere away from main road!

Basic Hotel in need of an upgrade
Posted 3 Dec 2017 on Wotif
Pros: The positives are the owners are very very lovely hosts who have only been in Motel for one year so deserve a chance.
On main street and easy to find.
Cons: Hotel is need of a face lift or at least systematically upgrade the internal appliances.
20'"TVs are no longer acceptable.
This the second time I have stayed here.
There has been no improvement in one year. The television is way to small for a family room. My computer screen is bigger. The microwave is that old I think it could be the original prototype.
Bathroom is showing very bad signs of age.
The family room was full of furniture which leaves very little room to move around.
If you want to want TV and sit on couch you have the table in the road. At least mount the TV on the wall.
There is no privacy for adults as the beds for children is in the 'loft' and is not separated above the main room downstairs which also doubles as the main bedroom.
The restaurant is only open Mon - Thurs , makes no sense as most people I think would be staying over weekend. may as well no have one.

Nice motel, very homely, nice staff.
Posted 23 Oct 2017 on Wotif
Pros: Cleanliness, other residents were quiet, very close to where I was working, walking distance to fast food, very friendly and attentive staff.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was really good.
Location: Across the road from a wooded park, located on Drayton St (Main road in Dalby), walking distance to fast food and service station.
Would definitely stay here again. Everything was very clean and well kept. The room I was in looked out over a small wooded park. Very friendly and attentive staff and breakfast was included in the room price. Very happy customer.

Wonderful Staff. Willing to go the extra mile
Posted 26 Apr 2017 on Wotif
Pros: It was clean and well kept. The staff are a major asset to this motel and were very interested in making our stay the best it could be.
Cons: Nothing from our point of view
Location: We were in walking distance of the main shopping centre, and enjoyed the major park across the road. For being on a main road the room was very quiet.
Motel is very well kept. Jenny was a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and checked to see if all was fine. The continental breakfast was very much appreciated. The breakfast was well prepared and Jenny made us feel at home as she greeted every person who enjoyed the breakfast by name. I have nothing but praise for the management and staff who made our stay a wonderful experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Dalby Manor Motel to any one staying in Dalby.

Centrally located Motel
Posted 12 Jan 2016 on Wotif
Location: The Motel is on the main highway and we drove to Lake Broadwater Reserve, approx. 30 kms away. Camping, boating and swimming available.
Motel is well-located on the main highway, across from a well-equipped park which houses the Information Centre. Swimming pool was clean and room was quite spacious with good self-contained amenities. Motel managers were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Right next to the park and walking distance to the main street.
Cons: pool open later than 5pm.
Was basic but very comfortable and well taken care of. No complaints at all!! I would stay there again. Nice little balconies for morning coffee.

New Years Day in Dalby
Posted 4 Jan 2016 on HotelsArrived on New Years Day. Checking was super fast and very friendly. Room was clean and suited perfectly for an overnight stay. Even though it was a public holiday there was plenty of places within a short walk to find dinner and breakfast. The hotel does have a restaurant but it was closed that day. Also within a short walk is very nice parks and grocery stores. Checkout was also super fast, just the way I like it.
