Stayed here for one night in September of 2019. Chose the hotel based on reviews, price, and proximity to the beach. The location is about a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. The local area is not overly populated and is quiet compared to the city center. On the downside, there is a lot of construction going on in the area during the daytime as they build up more of this Resort like area.
The hotel itself was conveniently located near the beach area, the staff was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The room I was given was on the 4th floor and was a little cramped due to the two large beds in the room. However the bathroom had good water pressure, the air conditioning worked, and the bed was rather comfortable. On the downside the room I had had no real View, the bed linen had numerous small stains and I found several black hairs and some dirt when I pulled back the covers. (Not really a big deal). To get into the hotel you have to go up about 30 steps. There is no wheelchair access that I am aware of.
The area surrounding the hotel boasts many restaurants and small owner operated eateries within just a few minutes walk. You can have anything from a simple local meal to a fancy seafood dinner feast near the beach. Food prices can go from very cheap ($2-$6) to quite expensive ($30+) depending on what you're looking for.
In all, I had a rather Pleasant stay here and would definitely consider this hotel again if I ever Venture back to this area
