The staff were so friendly. They upgraded me to a better room as a surprise for me, which I really appreciated. It’s within walking distance to the Japanese bridge and from there you’re in the tourist my area. My only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was terrible, everything else was superb.

Staff were so helpful and kind! Good location, within 10 minute walking distance to all the main streets. Would be great if there was a more accessible garbage in the room (there is only a small one in the bathroom) and also there is no elevator. but overall nice cozy stay and would love to visit again.

I just want to say a huge thank you to the team at Royal Villa Hotel in Hoi An for their amazing hospitality. I’m truly happy and grateful for the experience we had during our stay. I was traveling with my mum, and she absolutely loved this hotel just as much as I did. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and well looked after. The hotel itself was wonderful — clean, comfortable rooms that stayed nice and cool, and a perfect location close to amenities and the main market area. But what really made it special was the incredible family who run it. They were so friendly, warm, always smiling, and their English communication was excellent, which made everything easy and stress-free. We felt very safe and cared for the entire time. The owner even personally came to check on deliveries just to make sure they were for me and that everything was safe — such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to both of us. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every request we made was met with kindness and a genuine willingness to help. It honestly felt like a home away from home, and it’s thanks to them that we loved our trip so much. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Royal Villa Hotel to anyone visiting Hoi An. If I ever return — and I hope I do — I’ll book this hotel again without a second thought. Once again, thank you so much for making our trip so enjoyable and memorable. You made everything even more special for both me and my mum.

Amazing!

Great room, staff very friendly and helpful. Good location, only 10 minutes walk to tourist areas. Numerous places to eat in the vicinity. Highly recommended!

Checked in and didnt stay. Room smelled of mold and furniture bed extremely dated and old. Staff were friendly, but didnt refund me the entire stay, only half.

Good value for a quick night stay

Great location as you can walk to ancient town. Great value for the price. But you do get what you paid for. The room can hear machine constantly running, which makes it hard to sleep. Don't recommend for families with young children or people who are light sleepers

Booked this hotel for a friend's and his spouse at the age of 60s. When they arrived at hotel, there is no one to help them with the luggage to the upper floor. Imagine a wet and late night two elderly need to carry both their big luggage and climb the staircase and the railing feels as if it gonna drop off any time. The hotel also don't provide breakfast. That's is the most annoying part is when they check out there is also no one to help them with the luggage down the stairs.

This property was amazing value and we really enjoyed our stay. They were very good at topping up water, clean towels and making up our room daily. They also have free bicycles that you can use to get around as it is far too hot to walk most days! They provide free coffee and two free beers when you arrive which was lovely. The only thing I would say is that the aircon is not very strong so we did have to ask for a fan as the room was too hot. Also, when trying to find the place on Expedia the map will take you to the wrong place! Don’t do what we did as we had to walk with our bags in the heat and instead search the property on google and follow directions from there. Thankyou for having us!
