"Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. "Great value, comfortable stay. We had a living room, full kitchen, two bedrooms and two baths. Furnishing were a bit dated, but they were clean and comfortable. We first got to our unit at night and it was a bit hard to find the right one as most of the units numbers were not lit up and there was a bush in front of ours. "Peggy was VERY helpful, by providing information in the room for Groundhog Day. Her communication was thoughtful (providing check-in information, a hand-drawn map of the surrounding streets and highlighting the parking, and a list of local restaurants in Clearfield). There was a kitchen and full-sized refrigerator, as well as soda / candy / chips available to purchase on the honor system (it was good for my kids to see that). This was beyond perfect, and I couldn't recommend it more. "
