Great location
Posted 13 Mar 2015Great location on a quiet side street, just a few steps from pedestrianised Rua das Flores and easy walking distance to most sights in the city centre. Also, two minutes walk from the bus stop for the airport bus.
Friendly, helpful staff, though very little English spoken; it helps if you speak some Portugese or Spanish.
Spacious rooms with large bathrooms; all very clean. Good breakfast buffet with lots of choice.
I would definitely stay there again if I return to Curitiba.

Excellent hotel for those willing to "rough it"

Pros: The staff was the strongest asset of the hotel.
Cons: Perhaps breakfast and dinner service could begin a little earlier, 0630 for the former and 1830 the latter.
Location: Excellent location, close to a Tourist Line bus stop and easily walking distance to many of the local tourist attractions.
Though the rooms are small and a little noisy due to outside noises, the Curitiba Palace Hotel is an excellent place to stay for those who are willing to "rough it" a little. The hotel staff is easily among the best I have ever encountered at any hotel in the world. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I found the staff to be honestly smiling and pleasant. I had breakfast and dinner each day I was there and was very pleased with the quality and quantity of both, as well as the extremely reasonable prices. Two additional benefits were the great location and the extremely fast, reliable, and free wireless internet access available in all areas of the hotel.
Even though I can afford a more expensive hotel, I will certainly choose to return to the Curitiba Palace Hotel if I have the fortune to return to Curitiba.

Estadia com direito a barata
Posted 18 Apr 2023 on HotelsHotel antigo, quarto aparenta ter sido reformado há pouco tempo, mas apesar dos móveis mais modernos, o ambiente em si ainda remete a hotéis antigos. Peguei um “quarto casal luxo” que de “luxo” não tinha nada, a n ser por uma banheira antiga. As luzes não funcionavam direito, a TV com imagem de qualidade razoável. Poltrona bastante desconfortável. Conforto da cama razoável. Roupa de cama com cheiro de usada. E para fechar “com chave de ouro” minha única estadia, ao sair (de madrugada, não experimentei o café da manhã), encontrei uma barata próxima a porta do quarto. Não sei como que o hotel tem 8.8 de avaliação.

Me colocaram em um quarto diferente do que eu reservei, tomada do banheiro sem suporte, quartos menores do que mostrava no site. Sem ar condicionado no quarto com as camas de solteiro.
