The staff are friendly and kind,, the food was lovely,,, the atmosphere was good and the bed mega comfy

The hotel is in need of refurbishing, the carpets are tired and the paintwork is shabby. Money has been spent on the entrance hall and the restaurant, and these are splendid, though the plastic foliage is rather overdone. The revolving screen display shows a lack of imagination, there was no change to the advert for RAD Rewards ! Why not include some pictures of local beauty spots ?
The food in the restaurant was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Booked a superior room, was given a small standard room with no ventilation, small window with a view of a stone wall and a constant extractor humming noise. Was told that was the only room available. Made a fuss then got moved to a superior room. Was disappointed as i stay here at least once a month for work including my colleagues. Had to show my booking to prove i booked a superior room.
