Wonderful Hotel

Stayed for three weeks at this wonderful hotel which we highly recommend. Good location by the sea with a very well-kept pool area and park area. High environmental awareness. Good breakfast with great variety and excellent service. Good bar and à la carte menu. The SPA department is professional and has a good range of treatments. All staff were always happy and treated us well. They were very keen that we would enjoy ourselves at the hotel. Responsive if we had any concerns/wishes. A well-kept and forward-thinking hotel . A special thank you to Trang, Phuong and Quach!

Almost perfect

I stopped here for 4 nights, whilst travelling around Vietnam for several weeks. It seemed like the perfect escape from bustling cities and car horns. Unfortunately, on my second day they hosted a private event. It may have been a one off, but I was given no prior warning. I appreciate they need to make money, but the volume of this event was completely unfair on other guests and made the hotel unbearable for a whole day. When quiet, the place has a lovely relaxed feel. I had a super efficient and friendly check in by wonderful Long, and lovely check out Thung (sorry if I have spelt incorrectly). The rooms have that familiar Meliá look and feel. Spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed, and lovey crisp white sheets. There’s everything you could possibly need, including a fridge and a safe. My only issue was the food and drink. I simply didn’t find it to be the same standard as other Melia’s on my trip. The pool is phenomenal. Really big and I assume heated, as it was a nice temperature. The pool loungers were also really comfy. The grounds are magnificent and maintained to a very high standard. As always, their lovely staff were brilliant from start to finish, but for me their food and beverages let them down a little. It’s a 5 star resort with 3 star food. I suspect I was just unfortunate with the noisy event, and I’d happily return and recommend.

Our favourite little getaway!

As usual, the Cua Hoi experience was amazing! The staff were very welcoming and Robin was very accommodating in facilitating a birthday cake for my wife.

Another great stay here...

This resort is very close to my house, so I visit it quite frequently. The rooms are always very clean and homely and luckily this time we got a free upgrade due to my frequent bookings. I chose the full board option and the food was excellent, both the set menu and the buffet had some tasty dishes. The service here is excellent as well, in particular Hieu (Robin) was very helpful and attended to our every need. He is a perfect example of how to treat customers and understands what good customer service is.

Excellent hotel and excellent staff

I’m writing in response to my recent stay at Vinpearl Discovery Cua Hoi, Nghe An. I have stayed there many times previously and it’s alway delivers great customer service within a 5 Star setting. However, this time I feel like I should email about the excellent customer service received by one member of staff in particular. I had made a personal connection with him on my previous stays, his name is Robin (Hieu), he is the Food and Beverages Manager at Vinpearl Cua Hoi. This time I stayed at the hotel 15/09-16/09 and I had a special request for Mr Hieu because I was planning on proposing to my girlfriend. I asked him to try to provide a special meal for us and he delivered a spectacular occasion for us. We were seated outside, on the table were rose petals and the table was surrounded by a heart made of lights. The food was excellent and the meal was perfect. He went to a lot of effort for this and I want to make sure he is rewarded. He clearly knows how to provide excellent customer service and seems to enjoy making people smile by making their stay as comfortable as possible. I think this man really has what it takes to be a high level manager in your company, you should consider him for promotion immediately!

Một lựa chọn thú vị cho kỳ nghỉ vào mùa đông và dịp tết tại Cửa Lò. Bình thường bãi biển Cửa Lò và Cửa Hội rất vắng vào mùa đông , nhung thật ngạc nhiên vì khách sạn tạo được sức hút hấp dẫn lấp đầy phòng trong kỳ nghỉ tết. Nẵm giữa điểm giao Cửa Lò và Cửa Hội nên có một tầm nhìn thật thoáng và đẹp. Cùng chung tiêu chuẩn Vin nên vệ sinh từ không gian đến ăn uống tốt. Có khu vui chơi trẻ em rộng, bể bơi ngoài trời rất thoáng và đẹp view biển đẹp . Tuy nhiên so với các khách sạn 5 sao khác của Vin thì đồ ăn sáng kém phong phú hơn. Nhưng so với giá phòng thì như vậy là chấp nhận được.

Very disappointing

Having already had a brilliant stay in the Vinpearl Can Tho, I was expecting great things at this hotel. Unfortunately, the first impression and the last impression are the things that stick. This is a luxurious hotel that caters to well-heeled Vietnamese mainly, but it is lacking in many departments. Check in was painful, and compounded by the staff member failing to make eye contact and even handing my credit card to my wife for the PIN (that is a complete no-no). Housekeeping service was hit and miss (toiletries not topped up and not cleaned thoroughly), and when we asked for a late checkout for one of our two rooms it was first agreed and then on the day itself they tried to charge more than the agreed amount. The key problem is training -- the staff are not equipped to be able to serve at the level the hotel aspires to. The other big disappointment was the beach -- the water is dirty brown as it is at the mouth of a river spilling its silt-laden water into the sea. the pool and the sauna were good. The beach for part of the property's frontage is also covered in rubbish. If you want a nice hotel on a nice beach, this is not the place.

This hotel is quite new (1 year), therefore, the grounds are yet to reach their full potential, but will as the trees develop. We stayed in the two bedroom villa with its own pool. The pool was clean and refreshing. The villa is very spacious with a large kitchen, dining area and lounge area. Each bedroom had its own en-suite and there was a third toilet. The villa is just fantastic and good value on weekdays, but the price skyrocketed for our Friday night. The villa is a little back from the beach; however, the beach is a little disappointing, even for the North. Included breakfast was sumptuous with lots of variety. We didn’t eat any other meals at the resort, as there are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as in Vinh City itself along the waterfront, which is just a short taxi ride away. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the website advertised free drinks in the mini bar, but on arrival, I was told that policy had changed. I would have thought you remove the information and advertising and then change the policy, not the other way around Just to be clear this is a resort foremost for Vietnamese and the numbers swell on the weekend as travellers escape from Ha Noi or elsewhere. I think we were the only westerners there. English communication can be a little difficult at times although the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would like to commend Ms An in the restaurant and Ms Trinh who collected us from the airport. Both had very good English.

대체적으로 만족스러웠으나, 몇몇 직원들과의 의사소통이 정확히 이뤄지지 않아 조금 답답했음

휴양하기 너무 좋은 호텔

해변은 가까우나 모래가 너무 더러워서 바닷가에서 놀수없음 직원들은 친절하여 눈만 마주치면 달려와서 인상깊음 시설은 휼륭하나 보수가 제대로 안되어 수영장 타일에 아이가 발바닥이 찢기는 부상을 입어 피가 많이 나서 걱정이 많았는데 제대로된 메니저의 사과가 없어서 불쾌했음 한적하고 여유로운 숙소를 원한다면 선택해도 좋을듯..
