"SAD to SAY that I was NOT able to STAY at this reservation. I had to contact a person to get key. Erzsébet wanted payment on arrival for the one night. I did not have the funds in Euro or Ft. My Expedia account showed payment on debit/credit to be made when I made the reservation. I was very, very disappointed. Kind of fraud!"

"There is no public transportation out there-- not even a taxi in the tiny town of Buek. No signs to say where to check in. No front desk or lobby. No 24 hour office. No English. My friend called from Austria, but no one answered at the hotel 'desk'. This would be perfect if you were coming to stay for an extended period of time. Even better if you speak Hungarian. "

Exceptional Service and Value—A Must-Visit Hotel!

"Absolutely brilliant hotel! The receptionist was incredibly friendly—one of the most welcoming people I’ve ever met, and his English was flawless. While checkout is a bit early at 10 a.m., he proactively offered a complimentary late checkout, which made all the difference on a long trip. The hotel exceeded all my expectations. I stayed one night as a stopover on a road trip and, though I don’t often have breakfast when traveling, it was included in the rate, so I gave it a try. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide selection of delicious options. Although I was just passing through Austria on my way to Germany, this hotel has inspired me to come back, stay again, and explore Austria more. Truly fantastic value! "

"Very willing to solve some problems(9euro for 3 breakfest was realy for 1 breakfest, they offered 2 free of charge by theyr hospitality). Price for patio with kitchen and balcony great. Brautiful area around, lake , forest for running, nature fitness, playground for children, great thermal spa and pools, great restaurants(raspberry soup)etc."

If you want something warm for breakfast, I’d recommend going to nearby cafes. But the dining room’s atmosphere is amazing! The unique vibe and architecture make it unmissable. The interior design is fantastic. It really changes your mood when you walk in. The room’s furniture is a mix of old and modern pieces but the beds are comfortable. I’m not sure if “dated” or “antique” is the right word to use. the bathroom was large, airy and better than many 5-star hotels. The staff were lovely, knowledgeable, helpful, respectful and responsive. If you’re driving, I recommend using their secure car park (just talk to the reception staff). There are nice cafes and a Tesco nearby. The city center is lovely, and the hotel is right in the heart of it. It’s a great location to explore the city. "

"Exceptional in every way! Will definitely be back again. Came for the thermal healing waters, but was blown away by the incredible dining, staff, pools, room, treatments and atmosphere. What a wonderful experience and an absolute treat! Thank you everyone for an awesome stay! "

Old and smelly hotel

"Upon arrival, I discovered that parking is only available 250 meters from the hotel and I had to drag my luggage uphill. At the reception, I was told that as a Gold member, I am not entitled to late check-out and would have to pay 6000 HUF for it. The room was old and smelled bad. I do not recommend this hotel."
