It's a budget property and good value but figure in a 10 pound shuttle ride to and from airport. City bus 103 passes from airport but takes 40 minutes. Hotel reminds one of the Soviet Union. Nice bar and restaurant plus a good pub 4 minutes walk.

If you're early, like I was, waiting to check-in is not the most comfortable. However, it's not a big deal and can't really be pinned on the hotel, it can just happen and it's made a little worse with what's available in the area, which is not much. The TV didn't work, but not a big problem either nowadays. One of the outlets and a light.
Overall a very good personal experience considering also the price, which was very reasonable. The planes flying 50m overhead can be found to be a little unnerving and bothersome, but I want to be positive and think it was pretty cool, considering the airport's proximity, which is very convenient. Concluding, recommended!
