This place is great because it has its own beach and is secluded from others by nature. The building is beautiful with a tranquil and friendly atmosphere. The room had ample space and enough pillows (which has never happened before, for us anyway). The only negative was a smell that would linger either from the surrounding mangroves or the plumbing. The continental breakfast was decent and we rode the bikes around the are to explore. Would definitely stay here again to get away from the crowds and noise.

It was away from the hustle and bustle of Cozumel. Great place to unwind.

Quiet, private. Large room, great views. Beach was private. Hot tub doesn’t work. Sauna is Great. A bit far north from the reefs. Bed was pretty good.

Raul and Gina are the best. Puerta del Mar is a hidden gem. The ONLY place we will ever stay!

Property is very fabulous and has great interior design. Marble floors ans gorgeous wooden banister. AC works well and the views are incredible. Access to beach is only steps away. Breakfast is simple but cant complain about free.
Beach is clean and quiet. Only downside is the ocean floor here is sea grass with no coral.

excellent location and facilities. The wi-fi worked well in the "living room" but not so much in the rooms
we will stay here next time we have he opportunity

I really liked their beach. It is seaweed free, while whole Caribbean coast is drowning in seaweed. Also liked that it was very calm and felt like home.
