Beautiful country estate with fantastic owner. The home is decorated impeccably, including beautiful artwork, rugs, silver and linen napkins. Martha and her family were so warm and welcoming. Fabulous amenities with fresh baked cookies, coffee, right outside our room in the morning.

This property is beautiful inside and out with only the finest furnishings in every room. The beds are super comfortable and the owner has not missed any detail in making sure every room is equipped with anything anyone could want. It's a bed and breakfast but feels much more like a high-end country inn overlooking gorgeous Virginia scenery. Hill Crest is charming, full of history and comfortable - all at the same time. The owner/host is an excellent chef and makes incredibly delicious multi-course breakfasts, served by her equally as charming parents. It's food with a show!! The owner knows how to make everything and everyone feel welcome in her home and I would recommend to anyone they stay here. If there was an 11/10 this place would qualify.

There are not enough words for this property. Absolutely beautiful property. Best in the USA. Amazing host. She made us breakfast so good which I never had in my life. Hi, we hadn’t stayed in a B and B for a long time (2 very active kids) and had a great experience. Martha, the owner, was extremely helpful. Even setting up dinner reservations and being available when needed. We needed to get up really early for a bike event/race and she made coffee and had early breakfast for the person who wanted it. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The while house was set in a beautiful property and had beautiful views onto the surrounding mountains. The breakfast was wonderfully prepared and there was ample snacks and cold drinks before and after.

Truly wonderful Bed & Breakfast. The owners make you feel right at home, watching every little detail and really go beyond expectations. The common areas and our room were exquisitely decorated, and breakfast was a very unique experience both from the food and from the service perspective.
